The Famous Grouse Ideas Centre
The Famous Grouse Ideas Centre (FGIC) aims to make a positive economic, social and cultural impact not only in Perth but across the Tay Cities Region.
As the importance of the sector is recognised it is hoped to raise awareness of creative industries and inspire people to consider a career or self – employment in this sector.
A key aim for the FGIC is to support exceptional business creation, development and growth. To support this, the space has a range of technical and digital equipment widely used within the creative sector.
To have the maximum impact on the local area, outreach activity will encourage the involvement of local young people. This engagement aims to develop the next generation of leaders and employers by inspiring them through working with entrepreneurs and creatives.
The FGIC will see enterprises, projects and individuals working to find solutions to commercial and civic challenges. The presence of the FGIC will enhance the regional creative and innovation ecosystems.
The Famous Grouse Ideas Centre is located in Perth Creative Exchange, Stormont Street, Perth, PH1 5NW (formally St John’s Primary school).
From dream to reality and from business idea to growing, established businesses there is an experienced creative or entrepreneur ready to both support you but also challenge your thinking.
